Sale Week!

This week flew by really quick! The main event for this week was our final NCECA fundraising sale. Everyone put in a lot of work and it came together in a lovely afternoon. The shocking thing about the sale was that the vases were flying off the shelf. We only parted with 5 or so cups. After crunching all the numbers, we’re going to NECECA with minimal overhang. Woohoo.

On the studio side, I’ve really slowed down this week to focus on these three teapots. Paying close attention to the details and really trying to smooth everything out. Note to self, the Joe’s recipe is nice, but the grog is really excessive and is not conducive to burnishing. Gotta get that Pete recipe with no grog to see because the color is fantastic. Lastly, the terra sigs are all siphoned and just need to be measured to see what their consistencies are like.
