Too Many Ideas and Not Enough Time
We’re about a month into the semester and that has given me too much time to think of new ideas. This is a problem that I get myself into a lot of the times. Lots of fun little snippets getting turned into overblown projects. Buuut…on the flip side, it’s pretty fun to figure out how to get it all done. So, here’s what is on my docket:
Older Unfinished Ideas:
Table Top Tables / Pedestals: Most of them are dried and ready to be fired. However, I need to first make pots to accompany them.
Side Table: The top is being dried out slowly. A hole for construction has been cut. Table legs are under way.
Large Scale Pot Sculptures: All bisqued and will need to be decorated soon.
New Unfinished Ideas:
Sake/Whiskey Sets: They have been thrown and trimmed. Their stands/platters will be made soon! (Feb 15th)
Slotted Ceramic Pedestal: Taking inspiration from a pot on collection, I’m continuing the idea of utilizing different clay bodies to make pedestals.
More Teapots: Handles and spouts are the way.
Lastly, a little fun was had with the new kiln. It’s so SHINY!!
