Senior Art Show

The COVID-19 pandemic is ever present, seeping into daily life and affecting whatever practices one holds. Acknowledgement of the resulting stress and turmoil is paramount. This project is my acknowledgement.

Over this past year, I have found myself living through rapidly changing moments, unable to establish a routine or plan for the future because everything is off kilter. All of these fleeting moments have made me aware of the necessity to pause, take a second, and savor the moment, experiencing all that it offers.

I invite you to stop, take a seat, and spend some time with these cups–to fully live in this moment. What is going on right now? Are you fully present? Are your thoughts somewhere in the uncertain future? Or are they on the distant past?

Before you leave, please help build a community of moments by writing a note with the provided pen and paper. Afterwards, crumple it up and toss it into the pitcher to add your voice to this moment.
