Slowing Down, Reevaluating, and Planning

This past week was a blur—it’s that end of semester kinda vibe.

I tried to push through some projects and that resulted in many losses down the line because I just couldn’t keep pace. So, I stepped back and decided to dedicate most of my time to rest and plan. Above are some vessel ideas that will accompany my stands. I’m currently planning on making these out of a dark red stoneware with grolleg slip. However, this decision may change after the soda firing results.

Along with these four larger vessels, I plan to refocus on the teapot, specifically, tea sets. Through further research I may even step back from the teapot and experiment with a gaiwan. We will just have to wait and see.
