Put One Foot in Front of the Other

This past week I took a break from making. I was out of clay and there were other pressing matters:

  • a show

  • upcoming applications

  • formulating new ideas.

However, I did process around 400 lbs of clay for my next cycle of making. I made equal batches of porcelain and a black stoneware. Next week I’ll start making with those. Hopefully I can get some more pots into the upcoming wood kiln.

The main goal for this past week was preparing my show with Autumn. Unfortunately, we couldn’t start installing throughout the week because there were other shows. In order to better visualize, I utilized TinkerCad. This worked out really well because it was digital diorama that Autumn and I could both edit.

I’ll hope to update my portfolio with show photos soon!
