Winter Break
Wooho three weeks off. Spent it mostly in and out of the studio working on new projects for next semester.
Graduate School Applications
Lots of reshoots of old and new work. Writing, writing, and re-writing. Currently 5 are done, 1 to go!
Website Revamp
Both for application deadlines and maintaining a professional practice online. The navigation has been updated, CV updates, and new work uploaded. Still always a work in progress, but I’m glad to have had a day or two to work on it.
Big Pots
This semester we are planning to fire two wood kilns!! So I have been going big for now to help fill out the kiln and to push myself technically. Coincidently, it was around this time last year that I also started to play with my scale.
I’m excited for the new year and semester. Here’s hoping to more pots, new experiences, and fun times with the IU Southeast ceramic community.
